Stone & Quartz Surface Warranty
- Scope of Coverage: New England Granite & Marble provides a one-year limited warranty starting from the delivery date. We guarantee that the final product and its installation will be free from craftsmanship errors and material flaws under standard usage conditions. This coverage requires that a professional stone sealant be applied before the surfaces are put into use.
- Contractual Validation: For any warranty claim to be processed, a formal written agreement must be active between New England Granite & Marble and the hiring contractor or client.
- Compliance with Guidelines: Customers and contractors are required to follow all professional recommendations and prep-work standards issued by New England Granite & Marble before any repair or replacement efforts are initiated.
- Limitations on Liability: This warranty does not cover products that have been modified, neglected, relocated, or accidentally damaged by the owner or third parties.
- Natural Stone Characteristics: Variation in grain, color, shading, and texture is an inherent quality of natural stone and is not classified as a defect. Consequently, these natural differences do not qualify for replacement or repair. We are not liable for the quality of finishes provided by outside vendors or quarries. If a replacement is deemed necessary, we will make every effort to provide a close match, though perfect synchronization of color or lot numbers cannot be guaranteed.
- Safety and Building Codes: New England Granite & Marble does not certify that products or installations meet specific local safety or building codes unless such terms are explicitly detailed in a prior written contract. While we strictly follow Marble Institute of America (MIA) and OSHA standards, final responsibility for site-specific safety rests with the contractor or property owner.
- Resolution Policy: Our obligation regarding underperformance or product failure is strictly limited to the adjustment or replacement of uninstalled material that our inspection confirms as defective. This service is provided at no cost, provided the client has not attempted or completed any part of the installation process themselves.
-
Authorized Communication: No verbal or informal statement by any staff member or associate regarding liability shall be considered legally binding. To be valid, any admission of liability must be:
- Delivered in a formal written document.
- Issued by a representative of New England Granite & Marble with the express authority to make such statements.
